Norman the owner of Wembley, started in 1980 with his wife Jeanie. Born in New York City, he’s an American equestrian professional with an illustrious career, with major wins throughout Europe and North and South America.

Among various Grand Prix wins both national and international, his success include an Olympic medal in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics where he received the bronze medal aboard Irish, and a World Cup victory in 1983 in Vienna aboard stallion I Love You.

Nick Dello Joio

Nicholas Dello Joio was born in Bedford, New York, and grew up in Wellington, Florida. When Nick began riding, he trained with his parents. His talent was proven right from the start when he was circuit champion in the Children’s Modified Jumpers at the prestigious  FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival. In 2009, Nick won his first grand prix, the $25,000 EMO Grand Prix at the Atlanta Fall Classic I, and just one week later scored another win in the $25,000 EMO Grand Prix at the Atlanta Fall Classic II. Both wins were aboard Malcolm, a horse he had taken over riding for his father. Following his solid competition performance and a recommendation by U.S. Chef d’Equipe, George Morris, Nick received the 2010 Maxine Beard Show Jumping Developing Rider Award . In 2011, he and Malcolm were selected for the USET Foundation’s European Young Riders Tour, in which he had a remarkable debut in Europe with a Nations Cup win at CSIOY Weirden (NED).

Nick has had a lot of great placings in the last ten years, and has consistently appeared in the top 30 on the Rolex/USEF National Show Jumping ranking list. In recent years, Nick has jumped to many podium finishes in top international competition, including placing 3rd in the $1,00,000 ATCO Queen Elizabeth II Cup CSI5* at Spruce Meadows, 2nd in the $200,000 Empire State Grand Prix CSI4* at Old Salem Farm, 2nd in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Lexington CSI4*-W, winning the $138,000 Big Ben Challenge CSI5*-W at The Royal Fair, and much more. He was selected for the U.S. team for the BMO Nations Cup CSIO5* at the Spruce Meadows Masters, and made an appearance for the Team USA at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Finals in Omaha. Along with a steady competition schedule and a growing list of students he helps, Nick has sold a number of horses  that have gone on to achieve excellent results.
